Get your meal, step back and the officer will close the slot and once the officer or the inmate helping the officer thinks that each has had enough time to eat or are in a hurry to finish they will start to pick-up trays and sometimes sweep and mop the runs.
The meal on the tray is not as hot as these people are required to have your meals.
As well, the amount of food on the trays is half of what the general population gets because officers or inmates have to carry these trays all the way to the third row and if they have too much food they are too heavy and another reason is because if they serve us the regular amount that amount that they are suppose to then when the officer or inmate is carrying upstairs they will hit the rails, stairs or cell bars so food is less for those in segregation, pre-hearing detention and transit. Until next time...Felipe
